Opticiarx guaranteed quality, and they were much more budget-friendly eyewear stocks. Still, it was hard to battle the big brands and hit the full potential in the market. Although they had great products and a strong business model in place, their main challenges lay with a lack of visibility online and recognition of the Opticiarx brand. In response, Code Rushers developed a comprehensive strategic digital marketing plan aimed at enhancing Opticiarx’s online visibility and drawing in potential customers.
We were involved with Opticiarx to increase brand recognition, engage prospects, and ultimately gain sales. After identifying these challenges we crafted a holistic sustainable plan for Opticiarx that set measurable goals and delivered targeted marketing services creating tangible results.
Challenges Faced
As is the case for most emerging brands, Opticiarx was challenged with a number of key issues common to small to medium-sized businesses entering competitive online markets:
- Brand Recognition: Opticiarx had high-quality products but its sunlight with less exposure. Few know what its product included and they just couldn’t penetrate the established brand west.
- Less Organic Traffic: Opticiarx’s website was not competing well enough on google, and hence it was losing a huge chunk of possible organic (free) traffic. The brand had a low visibility online because search engines were not ranking for any queries.
- Vague Audience: Opticiarx had vague profiles of its ideal customer, and its ads were therefore reaching a wide audience without many leads or sales. They had to tighten their messaging to connect with the appropriate audience.
- Lack of Interaction on Social Media: Opticiarx had a very small social media account with fewer followers and fewer interactions! A challenge was there too as the strategy did not feel like real community or brand loyalty.
- Low Conversion Rates: While Opticiarx was getting some visits on their website, this traffic was not turning into customers, resulting in low completed in-completed) purchases.

- Increase Social Media Engagement: We wanted to enable followers to engage with the brand online, and have built a community where customers have felt seen, heard, and valued, driving overall loyalty and retention.
- Leads and Customer Retention: With email marketing and retargeting ads, we tried to catch leads and convert new visitors into loyal customers.
